Iron Infusion IV Therapy

New Beginnings Iron Infusions in Pregnancy
During pregnancy, your body needs extra iron to support both you and your growing baby. Sometimes, even with a healthy diet and iron supplements, iron levels can drop too low. This can lead to anemia, which often causes extreme tiredness, dizziness, and shortness of breath.
If anemia becomes more severe, it may increase the risk of complications like preterm birth, low birth weight, or added challenges during postpartum recovery.
Iron infusions are a safe and effective way to quickly restore iron levels when supplements aren’t enough, or time is running short in pregnancy. With an infusion, iron goes directly into your bloodstream, so your body can use it right away. Many moms notice more energy and feel better within a few weeks.
Side effects are usually mild and temporary, and research shows iron infusions are safe for both mom and baby. Many families find this option reassuring because it helps prepare the body for birth and recovery.
