Client must notify New Beginnings Birth Center prior to labor if you wish to withdraw from care. If you have not withdrawn from care, once labor begins, the entire global package price applies and there are no refunds for any reason, including the following:
- Details of the pregnancy, labor, birth or postpartum made an item inapplicable, inappropriate, or impossible to provide (For example, waterbirth service is not provided because labor progresses so quickly that there is not sufficient time to fill the tub).
- You did not notify the Midwife that you were in labor, did not call her to attend to you, or went to the hospital to give birth without first notifying your Midwife.
- The Midwife did not arrive before the baby was born, or you did not arrive at the birthing center before your baby was born.
- You transferred to the hospital during or following labor.
Discontinuation of Care—Client understands that if they are referred to another practitioner prior to the onset of labor due to a condition that makes out-of-hospital birth unsafe, or if you choose to discontinue your care with us for any reason prior to the onset of labor, the fee for our services will be recomputed to reflect the cost of care to that point and you will be billed for services rendered. The per item/service rate is computed separately from the discounted global package price fee agreement above. The most current per item/service rate is available for review upon request.
